As well as the checklist here are some ways to enhance and develop your blog:

Research and analyse evaluate different techniques which you can employ in your film

e.g using muzzle flashes- gun fire
using green screen
make up techniques
fake blood
special effects

Experiment with different elements and blog about it:

test shots
analysis of sound effects and sound tracks
locations
props
experimenting with make up techniques/prosthetics
experimenting with overlays (e.g HUD displays, CCTV etc)
